Jesus is the light of the world. Jesus is the way, and the truth, and the life. Jesus healed yesterday, heals today and tomorrow. And Jesus is returning!
A calling from God to keep disciples of Jesus rooted
God has called me into the ministry of deliverance and reconciliation (May 2012). I have been called to work with my defeated brothers and sisters in Christ who have yet overcome their sin but who are eager to walk closely with God – those who want to stay rooted in Christ and have victory over sin and darkness in their life. God has also put a burden in my heart for Catholics, Muslims, mentally ill people, handicappers and the lame and the sick to be reconciled to God before they pass on.
My journey to God
For a long time I walked in utter darkness and despair, living for myself, leaning on my own strength, loving the world. I had lived a sinful life as well as a melancholic life before I came to know Jesus intimately. It was a blend of godly grief and worldly grief but more so to the latter. My victories were never permanent for most sin and darkness in my life. My flesh was the master and I understand that place can be defeating.
1 John 4:4
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
It took me three and a half decades to learn that I can’t do it alone. I need God in my life to make things right, fruitful and purposeful. I need to focus on Jesus permanently for my freedom. As the saying goes “Never too late to learn!” And never too broken or too late to be saved by Jesus either! Jesus is not here to condemn but to give you LIFE!
I am One Mustard Seed of Faith
I want to be like the small mustard seed of faith in the bible that can move mountains. I want to work with God to plant seeds of salvation, water them to maturity in Christ. I want to help my brothers and sisters in Christ stay rooted in Christ and find freedom.
I feel a burden in my heart to help people out of darkness. Whether you are a follower of Jesus Christ or not; I feel God is reaching out to all of you to continue to walk in the light in search of him so you can be reconciled to him through his Son Jesus Christ. And that your salvation is a secure reconciliation to God.
1 John 4:8b-10
God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins
At some point in our life, the seed of salvation is planted in our heart. It is our choice to let this seed grow to the likeness of Christ or not. God gave us this choice and he is always there readily available to embrace you back in his arms when you choose him over the world and darkness. For he says, godly grief brings about repentance that leads to salvation without regret and worldly grief brings about death. (2 Corinthians 7:10)
Throughout my life experiences, I have overcome many tribulations and darkness in my life. And by God’s grace, I was given the strength and the tools to overcome each one of them as I continue to seek his face earnestly for his promise is this “Thus declares the Lord of hosts: Return to me, says the Lord of hosts, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts” (Zechariah 1:3); “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you” (James 4:8a) and “I shall never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 15:5b).
For many years I was defeated and believed many of the lies and seduction Satan threw my way. And through faithful endurance and obedience, God continued to renew my mind and heart through the Spirit of truth (Holy Spirit) till I have the strength to say NO to the lies and seduction more successfully. God has been my strength to stay away from sin. We can have victory over sin through Christ Jesus and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
James 4:7
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you
Does this mean the devil will stop trying? Of course not. He will never give up but we must NEVER GIVE UP on GOD Almighty either for our freedom is in Christ Jesus who had overcome the world at the cross.
I really want to encourage those who feel defeated, discouraged and lost to come forth to God’s presence and seek him for your freedom in Christ. He is an ever loving father and let not your earthly views cloud you from the grace he has to give you. Let not Satan steal your peace, love and joy from you that can be found through Christ Jesus and be reconciled to God forever more. It is important for us to stay rooted in Christ to have victory over sin and darkness in our life.
Isaiah 42:6-7
I am the Lord; I have called you in righteousness; I will take you by the hand and keep you; I will give you as a covenant for the people, a light for the nations, to open the eyes that are blind, to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon, from the prison those who sit in darkness
I got saved (repented and followed Christ) in January 2011 and my life has never been the same. Baptized in water in July 2011, and renewed in Christ.

And Christ is my strength, rock and refuge! He is my light and forerunner. I can do all things through Christ who had redeemed me from the world of darkness and sin to the world of light and righteousness filled with love, peace, joy and strength.

1 Corinthians 8:6
There is only one God, the Father. Everything came from him, and we live for him. There is only one Lord, Jesus Christ. Everything came into being through him, and we live because of him

I am a witness of Jade’s transformation and can only say Glory to God! Jesus truly sets us free from all lies – about ourselves, our relationships, our circumstances, the world – and gives us a life of peace and joy. I enjoyed the video and look forward to the mighty things the Lord will do you in your life!
Thanks Barbara. God has great plans for all of us in the body of Christ.
Let’s press on to shine for Jesus. I praise the Lord for putting you in my path as a signpost for me to walk rightly with him in Spirit when I was still not fully believing and surrendering to His mighty call.
